Call for Postdoc Positions at the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD)

Diabetes is a growing public health issue linked to lifestyle, nutrition, environment, and genetics. Addressing this challenge requires the development of new preventive or therapeutic, diagnostic or technological concepts and tools.

2 Postdoc Positions in Germany in Collaboration with Inserm ' The German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD) is offering two postdoc positions at one of DZD Partner Sites. The project will be conducted in collaboration with a French lab at one of the sites of the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm). This initiative aims to strengthen German-French collaboration in metabolism research.

Opportunity for Early Career Researchers from France ' The DZD encourages postdoctoral researchers in France who are in the early stages of their careers to apply for a postdoctoral position in a DZD laboratory. This opportunity allows researchers to advance their careers in Germany by joining a nationwide institution that covers all aspects of metabolism research and provides access to a broad research network.

Projects
 -  Diabetes type 1 or type 2 and/or diabetes-related clinical complications
 - Early translational, clinical, or epidemiological research
 - Projects are conducted at a DZD partner site in new or established collaborations with a French research group associated with Inserm

Eligibility Criteria
 - Postdoctoral researchers (natural, medical, and clinician) at an early career phase holding a PhD or MD degree, preferably from a French university
 - Proven research experience in metabolism research
