December 1st, 2026
Amphithéâtre Buffon – Université Paris Cité
15 rue Hélène Brion – 75013 Paris
The annual symposium of the ROAD to 2030 Inserm network will be held on December 1st, 2026 in Buffon amphithéâtre (Université Paris Cité - Paris 13).
By integrating cell biology, tissue engineering, advanced imaging, biomechanics and public health, the musculoskeletal community is uniting to reinvent how we prevent and treat rheumatism and musculoskeletal diseases. The ROAD to 2030 network invites participants to a one-day symposium which unites clinicians with biologists and epidemiologists and engineers to speed up discoveries that will revolutionize patient care by 2030.
Four visionary scientists will share their latest advances:
Gianluca Vadalà (Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma - Italy) - Discal regeneration
Mario Zaiss (Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg - Germany) - Microbiota and musculoskeletal disorders
Marjolaine Gosset (Oral Health - Montrouge) - Dental pathophysiology
Caroline Le Guiner (TaRGeT - Nantes) - Muscle gene therapy
Rapid-fire talk sessions and an interactive poster walk will provide numerous chances to test ideas and spark collaborations and showcase the French community work. The best talk and the best Poster presented by a young scientist will be awarded.
The program will also include sessions dedicated to the Fondations and association visions or to European call opportunities, and conclude with a round table on the network updates.
Call for communication:
The call for rapid-fire talks is reserved for young scientists (Students, Post docs, early-career Scientists). The Poster session is open to all.
Applicants are invited to submit an abstract (English language, max 400 words) by September 30th. Applicants will be informed of their selection in early November.
>>>> Abstract submission (before September 30th)
The one-day meeting is intended for all research actors. It serves as an entry point to connect with a dynamic community dedicated to solving musculoskeletal disorders whether working on basic mechanisms or testing new interventions.
It is free of charge but registration is mandatory.
